1. Is it beneficial for students to have computers?
With the development of the technology and economy, the machines like computer becomes a really essential part of human's life. Assume that every student gets a study to study at school; it might bring lots of advantages. First of all, students don't need to take heavy books everyday because computers are lighter. They also do not need to buy new books for the new semesters. To some extent, buy new books is a kind of money-consuming and paper-consuming. Students can put all the materials they need into the computers and it is easier to lace. Secondly, students can get more information from the internet because there is WIFI almost everywhere! Therefore, many types of data can be provided by the computers. Thirdly, computers can help students to do some difficult calculation and help students to finish the homework fast and accurate.
2. Describe an important letter or poem or story you have written
One of my important letters I received is from one student in a Hope School in Guizhou province. He is one of my students when I was a volunteer in that school. He wrote about the happy time we spent together and he also mentioned that what I taught him really touched him. He said that he learn not only some basic geography knowledge from me but also he start to think about what is his dream. Before I took the class” What is your dream” in his class, he never think about what kind of job he will do and what kind of person he will be when he grows up. He said that he study for nothing before I told him 'You can create your own dream and fight for it. Everyone in this world is valuable’. He wrote many times "Thank you very much "and” I will study hard from now” in the letter and his innocent and pure also move me. I never think about I can be an important role in other people's life. Maybe at that time I said those words for them was just try to get close to those students, this letter absolutely surprise me and I can learn so many from this simple letter with simple words. For example, hope and love.
3. Should people always remain honest?
Human being is a kind of the smartest animals in the ecosystem. In order to arrive some objectives, sometime people will betray their principles. Some of them might tell the lies or warp the truth, so honest becomes a cherish quality in this commercial society. In my opinions, people should always be honest so the life can be easier. For example, in the marketing there is a strategy named establish the loyal of the brand and this depend on the company is honest to the customers. The company is honest, it can win the loyal of the customers which means is can stable customer to make sure their revenue. This will be the same in the daily life. When people are honest to friends so there will be less arguments but more trust between each other. Ordinary, people would like to help honest person. By contrast, if someone be found he/she tell the lies, it is difficult for the people around believe his/her words again. Just like my friend Nancy lent me 5 dollars and I promised I will return on three days but actually I didn’t. Do you think Nancy will lent money to me the next time? So, I think people should be always remaining honest.
4. Should the government rebuild the city?
Well it depends on the city is a big city or the small city ,and the government should consider both pros and cons of rebuild the city .First of all, if the city is a big city I think government should not rebuild the city because usually the big city has plenty of resource and quite good infrastructures. And government can use the money on other fields like education or some public leisure facilities. If the city is small, rebuild it can make it more beautiful, citizens get more comfortable environment to live and it can attract more company to invent so the local economy can be boost. Coming to the disadvantages of government rebuild the city. Government might can not pay for the cost if the cost over the budget. The government might use the other parts of capital to support the event and this is not good for the development of the other parts in the city. Some citizens might need to move away because of the city rebuilding so there are potential arguments between governments and residents of the city.
5. What kinds of volunteer work do you want to do?
I want to be a volunteer to take part in some experiments in some fields. Like physiological researches, human behavior researches or the medical experiments. I would like to answer many different questionnaires, even observed by the experts for data collecting in different groups. Those researches show the improvement of the human beings and this research need thousands of volunteer to join the experiments. To be one of the volunteers doesn't make me feel I do something to push the development of the human beings. Simply say, I just enjoy answering those questions on the questionnaires and interviews. At that time, I feel I am valuable. Not all the researches are the academic researches, I have read the researches like "When people are easier agree the things in a day "and “The rate of male and female lose their job”. To be this kind of volunteers will make me enjoy the life.
